This recipe book was birthed out of a desire to take greater control over my health. In the process, I learned how to love myself more thoroughly and purely. I have struggled from a very young age with my weight and some heavy-hitting medical conditions. Most of which had a negative effect on my quality of life. I learned early that in order for me to live in a place of complete health, I would need to focus on disciplines both in my diet and my activity levels. After many years of being rebellious and just plain hardheaded, I grew determined to take back my power and execute authority over my health. I was no longer going to play the victim. Instead, I decided to make a paradigm shift.
